The environment we’ve created at AristaCare at Meadow Springs consists of a dedicated room that brings together specialized multi-sensory equipment to inspire and motivate the senses of our patients allowing them to experience safe sensory adventures and fascinating explorations. The tranquil and therapeutic setting we’ve built here at AristaCare helps to calm and stimulate our patients while aiming to maximize their ability to focus. Our environment promotes positive self-esteem and feelings of well-being. Some of our patients have commented that just being in the sensory room makes them feel better as it helps to lessen their level of stress and anxiety and sometimes even pain. Breathtaking visual and auditory stimulation surround them in addition to gentle touching, smelling, and tasting opportunities.

Our Recreation Therapy Department continuously incorporates the multi-sensory environment into its therapy and activity schedules to meet the unique needs of our patients while respecting each individual’s sensory preferences.

Our renowned Sensory Room includes a 6 foot Water Panel, Fiber Optic Lights, Super-Nova Spheres, Solar Projectors, Shimmering Light Curtains, Bubble Flow Panels, a Flat Screen Television with DVD’s that set the perfect ambiance, Aromatherapy, a Snoezelen a La Carte, and much more!
